Shadow theatre makes the impossible- possible. It gives life to imagination and can take audiences to magical realms.

Students will explore either physical shadow puppetry, using a giant white shadow screen and physical vocabulary, or classic Balinese style shadow puppetry.

Physical shadow puppetry style is choreographed to music and incorporates ensemble movement, coloured gels and cardboard cutouts/masks.
Shadow Puppetry style incorporates storytelling, the creation of paper-mobile puppets and creative structures.
